Whats that green stuff on my house?

Its probably moss, mould, algae or lichen. Here are a few interesting facts (or maybe just facts)

Moss is a plant that can grow in shady damp areas

• Mould - usually the black stuff on your driveway - hard to get rid of.

• Lichen - plant like but not a plant - who knew

• Algae - we all know is green and slimey.

These all need moisture to do their thing so are often found in damp areas.

How do you get rid of them?

• Try scrubbing with hot soapy water

• Maybe an all in one chemical, applied using the manufactures instructions

• Power washing to blast the stuff away, but this can leave spores, and is not great for your paint
